Elephant is truly said king because it not only thinks for self but also for others. During the dry season, they use their tusks to dig water from land. This provides water to all, from beast to humans.
Most important role of elephants is in afforestation. Dung of elephant is not only a manure but also lifeline for dung beetles. Dung beetles breakdown solid dung, while having dine. They bring down that food for their larvae, that loosens soil and transport the nutritious elephant natural fertilizer to the layers of the soil where plants begin to grow. The submerged beetle larvae are a source of food for a number of different animals – like field mice and honey badgers.
Also along with dung, seeds also go down. These seeds turn into trees. Not only this but also when elephant eats or move through bushes, it makes seeds of trees to fall down, giving rise to new trees.
